NBA 2K12 Features Many Legends, Including Julius Erving, Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen
The 2012 NBA season will almost certainly start late--if it starts at all--but the NBA 2K12 video game will be available in stores on October 4 and will include not only the NBA's brightest current stars but also many of pro basketball's greatest legends. Here is the NBA 2K12 trailer:Here are screen shots of Julius Erving, Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen:

I figured you'd probably give a shout out for 2k12 once the news came out that Julius Erving was going to be featured in the game.
A light confused why Bill Cartwright is featured so prominently in the trailer, though.

I thought that including Cartwright was a nice touch, showcasing how the NBA 2K12 game captures his unique free throw motion. I wonder how many people know/remember that Cartwright finished third in the 1980 Rookie of the Year voting behind Bird and Magic? Cartwright also made the All-Star team as a rookie and he was a very good starting center for five years until injuries (and the arrival of Patrick Ewing) forced him to accept a smaller role.
The dreamshake that left Robinson confabulated in the 1995 west finals sold me. I'll be playing come October 4th!
I've enjoyed playing NBA video games growing up (even created 30-40 of hall of fame players to add to current teams) but not in years. Time to reconnect with my inner vidiot!
